How to use the listening mock
Check your sound before starting and use headphones if available. Read the response instructions before playing each clip. Replays are allowed in this practice version. Transcripts and explanations appear during answer review, where you can compare what you heard with the script.
Improve your dictation review
After an attempt, check small words as well as the main nouns and verbs. Articles, plurals and verb endings can change the sentence. Replay the recording, identify the part you missed and write the whole sentence again from memory.
How are responses checked?
Objective tasks use answer keys and transparent practice-point rules. The spoken summary uses a model response and self-review instead of an automatic meaning score. These points are not official or predicted PTE scores.
